Well its been almost a week since I changed my fuel pump and my lights have yet to come back on. I guess it's a waiting game now, lol.

This just started to happen to me and it's driving me crazy. I'm glad to know it's a common-ish problem. For reference my Z is a 2003 with 83k miles on it.

I had the same issue as the original poster, ABS and BRAKE light would come on at seemingly random times. After a while the lights eventually just stayed on. Doing all the research on this forum and others and calling the Chevy dealer that pulled the ABS codes for the previous owner (C0265) I decided the issue was in the EBCM itself. I took a chance on an ebay auction to do the repair for me.

I used this company (http://www.bba-reman.com/us/index.aspx) to do the repair because after pulling the KH 325 apart myself I didn't see any issues with the solder joints (I am NOT a trained solder expert). Apparently they did see the issue and corrected it.

Here is the auction on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/...=item4cfe9608f6

I paid $60 for the repair and $15 for round trip shipping. While waiting for the part to be returned I also cleaned the grounds below the driver headlight.

After re-installing the part the ABS light was still on but the BRAKE light went off so something had changed with the EBCM. After driving the truck about 20 feet, the ABS light went off. I haven't driven more than 10 miles so I hesitate to say this has been resolved. I will post back if the light(s) do come back on though.

Hope this helps and good luck with getting your lights to go off!

My lights are still off after three weeks, so far so good. rockon.gif

Any updates on this? I'm seriously considering this in a couple of months when my truck is getting some major work done.
