Had similar idle probs. as others. Pulled IAC. Way dirty, went and bought a new one. Stuck it in its hole and fired the truck. Idle jumped to about 2700 slowly worked it way down and now idles like a champ. Thanks ZR2@USA.com. I didn't even know there was an IAC till I read this thread.
