Hey guys, I picked up a used set of Superlift Upper Control Arms and recently installed with new bushings and BJs, and aligned it. Later that day I made my first sharp turn and the brake pedal unexpededly went pretty low. I stomped on it a few times and it pumped back up. Once back home, after being scared shitless, I got back up under it. I had originally zip-tied the brake line to the front tube of the UCA. I figured maybe it's just getting pulled tight or something, so i cut the zip-ties off and went for a spin in the neighborhood. 1st sharp turn it was fine, but I went full pull in a culdesac (with no zipties on) and the pedal went to the floor. I've just been avoiding sharp turns at all costs all week. From what I can tell there are no signs of the tires rubbing on the brake lines. I'm at a loss now. And I don't wanna be afraid of driving the truck for fear of brake failure. Any input would be great.
This has only been happening since the installation of the new UCAs. is there some kind of bracket that should be with the aftermarket arms or something? How does everyone else run their brake lines with SL UCAs?
Brake Pedal goes to floor after turning sharp

im' guessing an air bubble somehow got into the lines during the UCA change and when you turn sharp, it causes the bubble to move up into the master cyl. Kinda far fetched is'nt it?
You don't get a brake light or ABS light when this happens do you?
Get a drinkin buddy to help you bleed 'em and see what that does.

I'll probablly end up trying to get deeper into it this wkend. But my ABS & Brake lights are on all the time cause of a bad wire, but the hub's still good so I'm gonna replace it yet

Get the grinder out!
Your upper caliper bolt is hitting the SuperLift a-arm at full lock.

im confused, i dont see why you would have to take the brake line off to put in new upper control arms. also what has to be grinded? the sides of the upper arms where the bolts go thru?
