Hey everyone,

I just got stationed at NAS Oceana and I'm wondering if there is anyone else in the area? I was in Raleigh, NC, and there wasn't anyone too close to meet up with down there to go wheeling with. I'm new to the area so it would be great to meet someone around here.

I used to spend a lot of time in the Hampton area which is a few miles from VA Beach, my girlfriends brother was stationed at Langley AFB but sadly he was transferred to North Dakota.

Stay away from Newport News by all means. It's an area where if you are white you might get shot.

I wish I was in the area. I've vacationed a few times in Virginia beach, I like it there.

He is lucky. lol.gif

I saw his truck at Bass Pro Shop in that area last time I was there, I put it on the I Saw a Z thread and he responded, never got to meet him though.

I was the Denny's in Newport News one night and 6 black guys come in wearing long blue shirts and blue bandanas, right as we were leaving 3 cop cars pulled in and put 4 of them in handcuffs jester.gif

I worked at Production Offroad in VA Beach for about a year last year and there is no where around here to go wheeling. You got to go up to the mountains and stuff and even then it's tricky where to go.

I spent mid 90 - mid 95 in that area.

Is Go-Ho auto audio still in business? Hi Dust 4x4? The Machine (techno dance club on Lynnhaven Pkwy), Boathouse in downtown Norfolk (excellent small concert vinue)?

Oh man, the memories.....

Haha I'm not too sure about whats here yet, I've only been here since the first. I do know that its a really nice area though and I like it a lot. The gate of our base is like three miles from the oceanfront, so that's pretty awesome. It's only April and the beach is already covered with good looking women, I can get used to this!
