I'm a zr2 owner from Norway. I bought a used zr2 in May 11. I love my zr2 and have big plans for it. I have installed an alarmsystem,2 din mediasystem w/camera, remote heating and LPG so far. Futher down the line I'm going for a repaint, new hood, smoked rear windows, new angel headlights, grill, kn cold air intake and a tiny lift. Lift is not allowed for this car in Norway :-(
I we been talking to Bob at Alcan springs about a new pair of leaf springs too, but everytime i asked for his advice he goes silent :-(
Anyway im looking forward to getting some help from you guys......... ;-)

Sounds like you got the mod fever already, why can't you lift your truck there?

I'm surprised there was even a market for the ZR2 over there.

I honestly didn't even see that. I do like the lights on the fender.

What an interesting version you have there - I had no idea!
What are some of the differences in the motor/interior?

I don't know if it's original or aftermarket, but i agree it look's good :-)

Most of it is to make it street leagal. The funny thing i have a new aftermarket grille i bought on ebay. I like the US style :-)
There are a huge marked for Suv's in Norway, but they are very expensive. I bought my 99 zr2 May 2011 for 22000 usd. Yes its right 2 2 0 0 0 usd. Suv's (new) start at 100k usd.

I don't think it's that different, but i've installed LPG in my Zr2. Now it runs on naturalgass and petrol. I'll try to post some pictures later on.

Deaver Springs
In Santa Ana California
They readily gave me advice, readily suggested/corrected ideas, changed things until they were happy about both me and the springs.
The silence to a novice is why I didn't go to Alcan.
Tried to do business with them and they failed.
I drove 600 miles so they could see the truck. They wouldn't even look at it.
Alcan might be fine for people who order springs and know what they want but they are miserable and condecending to a novice.

Mine sat the same way when I purchased it. PO hauled alot of boats with it which added to the normal Z squat.
Alcans are great product from what everyone say.
I had good sucess with adding short add a leafs to mine and they were only about $40 USD.
Tough to tell how much they raised it alone though because I also put a set of very new/low milage junk yard Z springs in her at the same time.
Lifted the back by a ton with no shackles.
I really like the headlight squirters. ZR-Benz.
There is a four door Blazer over at Expedition Portal with factory ZR2 type flares. He says they are standard in Germany.
Seen any of those in Norway?

over 450 vehicles for sale.
They had over 100 CNG vehicles. The tanks on them are enormous (1/4 of a full size pick up bed) and get very limited range. (100 miles or so)
Tons of full size Fords and even a dozen or so Honda Civics.
Is that spare tire looking thing your LPG tank? What kind of a range can you get with that?
Looks much more compact than CNG (desireable from a fitment perspective) if it is.
