Why do you have the pan off, and why do you have the motor lifted?

He took the pan off without even getting under the truck -

It's had a knock for quite a while, it wasn't real high on his priority list, apparently.
Claims he was driving down the highway, 65MPH when everything "seized up".
He's officially more of an engine-killer than Josh. This is the second motor in 3 years or so that he's thrown a rod in.

That's more than just a rod knock, I bet that pan was dry as a bone.
Look at the heat marks on the pistons. That is absurd.

Initially he told me he just needed a new serpentine belt.
You're preaching to the choir...

X2.... I'm with you on a dry motor..... You don't have a motor explode like that and have NO signs of oil splatter!! Crazyyyy....

Don't forget the duct tape. You can fix anything with duct tape!

But if you wanna put your oil pan back in just undo your motor mounts( that's what holds the motor to the frame), and jack the engine up as far as it will go, and just hit the oil pan with a BFH. Then a few tack welfare and duck tape should make it all better.
