Just bought an 03 and want to change the rear bumper to a rollpan.
So my question is who makes the best steel bolt on RP with light kit?

Well goodmark makes this OEM reproduction that accepts the butt ugly old style lights.

Or if you want it to actually look good I'd recommend one like this and finding a light to hide above the license plate. With all; the LED lights available that shouldn't be that difficult.

I have a question. I have always like the rollpan loook but always wondered is there any reinforcement strength underneath the rollpan once it is installed? Are you able to keep the rear metal bumper bracket and get rid of the facia and install the rollpan or does the whole metal bracket come off when you install the rollpan?

The bumper and brackets are no longer used, then the rollpan attaches to the bottom of the bed side, and behind the tailgate on the top.
