Hey guys, today I upgraded the big 3 since they were VERY tight since the BL and also because it was boggin down in gear at idle and sometimes shutting off when in reverse. I was thinking it was a ground issue since the stock cables with new terminal ends were tight as crap and would loosen a bit from time to time. I replaced the factory wires with 2 guage battery cable wire from napa. Once I was done it cranked up great, idled great, throttle response was great, and the voltmeter was right at 14. The second I put it in reverse it bogged down and shut off. I've double checked every connection and everything is as it should be. Once it got warmed up it seemed to do fine, just left me kinda scratching my head here. Could it be fuel related or coil or something else? This was the problem I wanted to fix and it didn't seem to do a damn thing. Just a little frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
-Tommy

What happens when you put it into a forward gear? Could the torque convertor be locked in due to solenoid gone bad in the tranny?

it bogs down the most in reverse, but in Drive it will drop rpm. sometimes it's normal (from 500 down to like 450 and back up immediately) and sometimes it drops to like 250ish and rumbles for a few seconds and then back up to 500
