An entry level wet single fogger EFI kit is about $400, the install takes maybe two hours.

Nothing wrong with breaking shit. That's why you have a trailer and a tow rig. But at least wait until Sunday afternoon. thumup.gif

I'll try. I guess I'll be spending a lot of time on the quad then. lol.gif

Speaking of the quad, I found a guy who's selling a stock airbox for an '08 Raptor 700 online. $30, should fix my water-in-oil issue.

Couldn't find a single thread over there with my exact issue.

You know what would fix the water in oil issue?

NOT LEAVING THE QUAD OUT IN A FUCKING STORM!

Thats why you had water in the oil.

That's all fine and dandy, but sitting in the back of the truck while it rains should not get water in the crankcase. Something is wrong.

I threw the quad in the back of the truck and went to Harlan last October. It misted the entire way there, for the most part. Got there, fresh oil change, and the oil was nice and milky again. White, white. What else was I supposed to do? The "trailerable" cover I bought for it ripped to shreds in the wind.

I'll put the new airbox on it. If that doesn't fix it, it will probably get sold. I'm not sure I like it enough to keep it.

There's nothing wrong with leaving your quad out in the rain. Hopefully the new airbox fixes your issue, JW.

X2 there is no way water should be getting in I dont even think the airbox is the issue I ran my 400 ex with out a lid and I never had that problem.

Or an airbox lid without a hole in it.

There really isn't much to tell, they make the kits with everything you need to get N2O and extra fuel into the motor. And from there you can get bottle warmers, purge kits, window switches, etc if you feel the need.

It is 100% the issue. Water can run under the seat right to the open lid. The PCV is ran into the airbox low, so it only take a little bit of water to get to the crank case. Not to mention air filters are supposed to be dry. lol.gif

So how does my truck and its retarded old motor get more fuel?

I need to clarify my statement above. Leaving a STOCK quad out in the rain shouldn't be a problem.
