I have one slip-in style shafts+tube and one bolt-on style shaft+tube left. After searching for almost a year at various junk yards, I finally found one that had a few, so I grabbed them all. I figured I'd help you guys out here since I had the tools with me already, and I had nothing better to do at the time
As posted my N2O_ZR2 in post #13, part #s for the seal and bearing are:
Bearing
HK-4012
Seal
710491
Hey!
How on earth did you get the damn axle out of the transfer case? I found a 99 Bravada at my favorite yard, but could'nt get the axle out, I got the slip on tube off with no prblem. Do you have to take the whole case down and unbolt the side plate to get inside and release it?????

Put a pair of vice grips on the shaft and use a BFH to break it free.

Forgive me,
But where on the shaft is the best place grab it with the vise grips so you dont gouge the shit out of it? I feel that would be naughty, naughty for the axle shaft.

I got a tube, but no shaft cuz the Chiefs game was coming on one Sunday a couple of weeks ago and I was running into a PIA with it.
Bastards lost to the 0 & 7 Dolphins!
The next weekend the Bravada was gone to the smelter so i could'nt get the shaft.
That's all I need, how much for an axle shaft if you get one?

Sorry man, it wouldn't be worth my time to go pull just the shaft when I have to take the tube out too. If you want me to go get one, I will do that for you, but you will get the shaft and tube.

Thats cool but hold on for an update,
I found a couple of 1999 Bravada's in a yard about 30 miles away. I'll see if I can free from working so much and go up to Liberty, Missouri and knock them out. I hope they are all tore down like the last one was, that easy to get to the axle.

Good luck, keep me posted. You're lucky, the yards I go to don't pull anything. I have to do everything down to breaking the ball joint and taking out the CV shaft. Sometimes that axle nut can be a real bitch without an impact lol.

hell yeah i broke both of my largest socket wrenches last week on my friends 96 blaze. theres only so much leverage torque u can put on em before the gears snap and BEFORE the axle nut breaks loose son of a bitch

It's even worse when the car isn't on the ground to use "park" as something to push against. I use a large prybar on the rotor to stop it from moving, and just hope for the best
