I know how tough it is to find a ZR2 bed (as ive been looking for a rust-free one for my project truck for 3.5 years now).
It's been tough for me to find one because I live in Ohio and due to our weather, most of them have rust.

I invested $1000 on some body work and a new paint job for my first bed.
A year later, the rust bubbles came back and looked terrible.
Lesson learned: You cannot stop rust, only prevent it.

Well, last summer, I actually found TWO beds in fabulous shape at the same place!
I bought both of them and have decided to sell this one.
It was stored in a heated garage and covered all winter.

You will not find a used bed in better condition.
Even ones with minimal rust are RARE enough!

If you were to build one from scratch with pieces from GM, you're talking about 3K plus labor to weld it all together.

Here you will find 45 photos of the bed:

(If the link does not work, please let me know and I can email you the pictures)

- I am asking for $1000 -

My father may actually be taking a trip to WI in the near future. Would that possibly change things?

Probably not. $1k is a lot to stick into just a bed although it is in very nice shape.

I welded the third door shut, removed the windows, and then used stainless sheeting to fill in. I wanted to do something different. It is a project truck so I am continually working on different mods. Wait until you see the inside! The tow hitch / receiver are just angled up at the moment to fit it into my garage. Just allows for more walking room smile.gif I just added you on Facebook, Christopher Drenik, just FYI. Nice profile pic, LOL. Cuz you'zz a bouss!
