The collection is about 10 miles from Diversified Creations. It is not open to the public, but we do open it for special events. We are in process of updating the collection web site with the scheduled events.

I knew it wasn't open to the except for special events and such, but one of the guys that works at our shops brother saw the veyron parked somewhere in Brighton. He stopped to take a look, and started talking to Ken Lingenfelter I would assume, and was invited to come check out the rest of the collection of cars. That was the story I was told anyway. If it is true thats pretty cool that he was nice enough to do that, since a lot of times guys that have impressive cars like that can be kind of rude. And a guy that came to look at a truck I was selling recently said that he did some of the work on that building when it was built, he also said that, again I would assume he was talking about Ken Lingenfelter, was pretty cool.

Congrats Mike! Lingenfelter is at the top of their game as far as I'm concerned and I know your unique level of expertise will only help the company improve even more thumup.gif

Congratulations Mike. I'm sure you'll enjoy working there, even if it means having to drive more, especially if you have to drive one of the companies "cars". LOL I remember driving a buddies H-2. It had one of the 750hp engine and tranny packages in it.

Ken Lingenfelter, the company owner, is a really down to earth guy. To meet him, you would never know he has such a collection. He treats everyone really nice, and goes out of his way to make the collection open for people to see.

On January 31, 2011 I retired from GM. I had enough of the corporate world, and decided to move on. My original plan was to work full time at Diversified Creations, but something came along that changed my mind.

After a long 8 hour retirement, I started a new job on February 1, 2011. I am the new Operations Manager for Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. We have 3 locations, two in Michigan, and one in Indiana. Check out our web sites, and see what you think.

My office is in Michigan, so I don't have to move. I do travel to all locations weekly, but the Indiana location is only a 3 hour drive. It is a much more enjoyable drive in a car like I am driving now, a 2010 Corvette with one of our supercharged 650hp engines.

SWEET!!!!

Best of luck in the new job, Mike.

By now you've met Graham B., a pal of mine for many years. Whatever you do, if you and Graham go out after work for a couple of cold ones and he tells you he can sing country western, run the other way.

So the town I live in and the surrounding towns run a e-newspaper site where locals can submit their work. Some guy named Michael Copeland is regularly posting poetry.

So I must ask- did you give up on the the car stuff, move here and become a poet? lol.gif

The blue ZR1 has been sold. I did just return from running the S.O.R.C. in Nebraska. I drove a red ZR1 with our 700 hp package. I ran 178 mph 3 times in a row in the 1 mile shootout.

We have a number of options for the CTS-V. I one I have been driving has 700+ HP.

Yes, we still have SFA kit's available for the ZR2's.

I have even less time now than I had in the past. I still have to travel, even more than in the past. Although, having a place at Silver Lake does make it much easier to get there.

Do you guys have anything for my GTO? biggrin.gif
