I am selling my Pioneer Avic N1. Everything is included to be good to go. Includes both the bran and screen. Everything works perfectly except ejecting CD's occasionally it has trouble. You can usually help it out and then it will eject fine.

I have owned this unit for along time and I am just going back to a regular radio.
PM with any questions

"Forget installing multiple components — in the AVIC-N1, Pioneer rolled DVD/CD/MP3 playback, touch-screen system control, and navigation capability into a single in-dash receiver. It'll even monitor different aspects of your vehicle's performance! The AVIC-N1 fits most standard dash openings, and features a hideaway box where most of the inputs and outputs can be found.

The AVIC-N1 comes with two map DVDs, which cover the U.S. They're programmed with detailed street maps and over 12 million points of interest, such as restaurants, gas stations, hotels, and more. The AVIC-N1's 64MB memory lets you remove the map DVD once you've entered a destination, so you can enjoy CDs and MP3s while you get visual and audio turn-by-turn directions. The system monitors your position using its GPS antenna, internal gyroscope, and the connection you make with your vehicle's speed sensor.

When you're driving, you can have the screen display several vehicle dynamics specs. These include acceleration, lateral G-force, speed, angular velocity, and vehicle slope angle. If you're keen on showing off just what your car can do, the AVIC-N1 gives you a great way to do it!

Pioneer also packed plenty of four-way high power into the AVIC-N1, so your music and movie soundtracks will play with serious strength. To adjust the sound to fit your vehicle's acoustics, you can adjust the three-band parametric EQ. And if you really want to drive your speakers and add subwoofers for even more oomph, you can connect amplifiers to the three sets of preamp outputs.

System expansion also plays a vital role in the AVIC-N1's performance. You can add a CD or DVD changer to the built-in controls. The receiver will control a compatible XM or SIRIUS Satellite Radio tuner (tuner, antenna, and subscription required) for over 120 channels of coast-to-coast entertainment. And you can connect a separate A/V component, such as a game system or videocassette player, to the set of audio/video inputs.

If you need to keep the monitor retracted while you're driving, you can still control the system — a ten-character secondary display keeps you in full command, even if the monitor's closed.

When you're parked, you can use the 6.5" LCD to watch DVDs. If you connect an optional backseat monitor, you'll be able to take advantage of tri-zone capability. You can listen to the radio up front, send DVD signal to the back, and keep the navigation system running!

Yeah good price on it. I have one almost identical to it (P5700DVD I think) and I paid $600 for it on sale.

On a kind of off-topic note did either one of you ever have the vehicle dynamics shit working ?

Ya, mine always worked fine. Just tells you your G's and acceleration stuff. I always thought it would be funner on a faster car.

Make sure you have your VSS hooked up....

If it has the same software as the AVIC F900 then it is a damn good headunit. They are windows based so that makes them easy to troubleshoot and modify if you so desire. My F900 will warn me of speed traps and red light cameras as I approach them. Just check out avic411.com.

How current are the map disc? And it has not been modded at all? Also you said it has trouble ejecting disc. How bad. Just worried it wont give me back a dvd. Does the screen block the to AC vents? Kinda worried it may crap out on me no offense. Also does it have a USB jack? I'm really want a headunit that has a front USB interface. Can you change the background images on this?

1. I have a 2008 West map disc - I think its still in the head unit because I cant find it.....
2. It has a hard time ejecting discs I think because the "rollers?" the push out the disc sometimes dont catch the disc.... fif you help it with another disc it has always ejected. Kinda hard to explain.
3. Screen does block upper vents
4. It is an older system..... but it has always id say worked for me.... I would say it has low hours on it
5. No usb
6. Yes you can change background
7. Shoot me an offer if you want it but dont like the price

Also, I would like to see actual pictures of it, please. Thanks.

Its really not a big issue..... the thing is when you hit the eject button something is supposed to grab the disc and push it out. The only issue is what ever is grabbing the disc cant get a grip on it.... or so it seems.

I do not know exactly how it works internally but this is just from my hypothesis.

To fix t I use another disc and just put it the tip in right above the isc thats being ejected. As soon as it touches the thing internally will grab the disc and spit it out. It does all of the work you never have to push/pull on it to get it out, just help the internal "roller" get traction on the disc.

It really hasn't been an issue, usually disc will eject fine, but every once in awhile I have to do that little trick. I have never lost or got a disc stuck in there, it has ALWAYS came out with the trick.
