Im thinking of adding headers to my 4.3 sometime and I will also be redoing the exhaust. Im a Magnaflow fan so I will be using a 21" muffler to keep the noise relatively lower but I dont know if I want to run true duals into a dual in dual out muffler with twin tailpipes, duals into my muffler and then exit with one larger tailpipe, or just go with a factory type setup and run one larger pipe to the muffler and one tailpipe out the back. What are the advantages or disadvantages of each setup? What will each one do to my power and fuel mileage?

I dont want loud because I use this truck to get in and out of the deer lease and I dont want to scare off every animal for 50 miles. I just want a nice tone at highway speeds. Im running a Thrush turbo muffler turned down before the rear axel. Its OK. I may just replace the muffler and go with a 2.5" factory style tailpipe. Its hard to find a good flowing muffler that doesnt have alot of noise.
