When I was changing my oil today I noticed that I was putting 10-30 oil in instead of 5-30. pissed.gif

Did I screw up? Is it OK to leave it as is or should I change the oil to 5-30?

Will be just fine. I think that oil is too thin anyway. The factory selects and reccomends a grade that will accomodate all regions where the vehicle is sold. I ran 10w30 and even 10w40 in my 4.3. Now that I have a 5.7 I run 20w50 in it with no problems. Not much difference in a 5.7 and 4.3 internally accept 2 more cylinders.

I run 5w-30 in the Z and 5w-40 in the Dmax, not worried about either. Oil is oil, as long as its lubricating it works just fine.
