i could have sworn that I saw a picture of a crew cab s10 with the normal sized bed instead of the super short bed that belonged to somebody on this site. who's truck is that? i can't find it again.

Thats a totally custom built truck.

I think there is a thread somewhere around here with all the details.

I've never heard the complete story on Greggs truck...but I do believe he bought it with the stretched frame and the normal bed...but I may be wrong.

Essentially, cut it in half, add some frame in the middle, and weld it back together.

And actually...it's a ZR2 frame, stretched to fit the crew cab on it.

If you would have been home the last time I passed through Brockport you could have actually seen the truck! lol.gif

I have posted the story behind the truck previously, but when I get some spare time I'll explain it again.

Right now I'm busy packing to head up to my camp,so I won't be on here for a couple of days.

(sorry Devin, the Crew Cab ZR2 is staying home, I park it for the winter.
Salt doesn't look too good on a powdercoated frame!) biggrin.gif

well no matter, if it was a crew cab or zr2 to begin with...that's how they should have came from the factory. that tiny bed that the crew cabs have behind them just seems too useless to me. i mean, even 6ft beds are small. what were they thinking to make them even smaller??? reallycrazy.gif

not only that but the zr2 package looks way cooler than the zr5 package.
