Well, I finally took the weekend to install these bad jackson's. I really wanted them in the grille rather then under the bed so it took a while to make them fit just right, this way to also keep them out of the shit. Heres some pics. They are incredibly loud, I blasted them when I was crossing the railroad tracks and the cars behind me stopped and waited for the train.

Thanks!

I bought the horn kit from suicidedoors.com for $250, plus the 4 port 5 gallon tank $50.
I bought the compressor from ebay cause it was such a good deal, about $130, Viar 380 100% duty cycle.
I had to buy all the brass fitting from home depot to plum the pressure switch, compressor to the tank, pressure gauge, etc. The kit pretty much came with mostly everything else. I am running at 175 PSI and I have another pressure switch to bump it up to 200 PSI if I want.
I had to make the brackets up front which wasn't much of a big deal, hardest part was trying to get the horns positioned just right so the grille would fit back on. So the bumper and grille ended up coming on and off a million times.
I have one empty port on the tank which will be for an air chuck to of course, run on board air! (once I get the money for the house, air tools, etc.)
These things are wicked loud, :shakira: worth every penny, if you're looking for something to scare the shit out of people, this is the only way to go. They really do sound exactly like a train, it's friggin awesome seeing the look on peoples faces. I'll get a video up here probably this week sometime.

It would be cool if you could post dimensions of the bracket you made, and measurements of where you placed the horns on it, so that if anyone else wants to do this, they could avoid the removal of the grill/bumper a million times. lol.

Good job, can't wait to see the vid!

I can do that, when I go back and check things this weekend I'll measure everything and list the measurements and what not.

Damn.

That's awesome!!! :D

Hmmm you've inspired me to waste more money... :D
Did you get yours from hornblasters?

Wonder if I can get just the tank... if not I'm just gonna make one, but I think I'm still gonna mount it under the bed where my spare used to be!

Damn I've gotten some ass chewings with my horns, I'd get my ass whooped if I had your horns! :jester:

Haha, yeah, it's pretty bad ass, but worth every penny man. I bought the horns and tank from suicidedoors.com separately. Horn kit $250, tank $50. Suicide doors get their horns from hornblasters.com but suicide doors shipping is cheaper :) they even come in the hornbalsters.com box, haha.

Yeah the 4 horns will fit behind the grille, like I said I really didnt want them under the bed and this weekend I will take measurements and post them for anyone who wants to give it a shot.

Blast away! :len:

Well the full kit comes with the 4 horns, a 3 gallon tank, and a Viar 400 compressor. I didnt want the Viar 400 cos it doesnt have a 100% duty cycle and it has a lower PSI rating. So I bought the Viar 380 off of ebay for pretty cheap, then I bought the 5 gallon tank and just the 4 horns only from suicide doors. So, as long as you're running 150 PSI through the lines you'll have at least 158 decibals, so they say.

Jerry, I actually moved to Barker a month ago and never changed my profile, but I still go to school out in Buffalo. Where are you usually around, if you want to hear these bad jacksons.
