Adding diesel and crewcab will get you close to $50k i bet!

What are the owners not impressed by?  Any forums discussing it?

Try this thread, if you can access it:

http://coloradofans....2-revealed.html

Also of note: The 2015's had terrible transmission programming. By 2016 it was way better, and most of the 2015's got some of that reprogramming. My Z71 is a 2016 (gasser, not diesel) and I've learned to mostly 'drive around' the one weird spot in the programming. HOWEVER, some guys are already trading their 2016 trucks for 2017's just for the 8 speed transmission. It's THAT much better.

Oh, and if you want a 100 HP boost, Mallett is making supercharger kit for about $7k. Giddyup.

I told myself I'd trade this one in at 8 years max to stay ahead of the rust problems my Highrider suffered from. If the ZR2 package is all sorted out and readily available, I might just move that up to 5 years. :D

That's an overpriced 100hp.

I really hope GMC gets a version of the ZR2.

I feel like we would've seen it by now. Plus they may be trying to keep GMC premium with stuff like the Denali over a Z. But who knows. Just glad this finally happened.

Seems like it would be a huge miss not too, especially considering the Canadian market really scooped up the GMC ZR2's back when they were around. I think it would be a no-brainer and a pretty low stakes gamble. Here's hoping.

I got the impression there wouldn't be a Canyon ZR2 after watching this:

:(

Then it will be easier to not consider buying one.

That and the price.  I expect the ZR2 to be ~$53-55k+ here.

I have no doubt I could get into one for under 40k, but that's still a lot of coin

There's more, but there's some shitty forum limit on posting images, apparently.

Trying like hell to talk my wife into one, but with my 2010 CC fullsize only having 44K on it, she is not biting at all.

Not a single one up for sale on Autotrader yet, and GM doesn't have the package built into their "Build Your Colorado" tool online yet either.

Figure it'd probably be a year or two before they had one at a price I'd be willing to bite at. $40k is low-mileage, clean LML territory... hard to go with a little Colorado over that for the same price, especially when the LML will likely hold its value better.

A good lease deal could probably sway me, though...
