What did you have to do to get it to make up with the 4 door frame? I assume just drill a few holes? Looks great on there! well i already had your receiver tubes so i had to drill it out for them it was not really a big deal but my front end was tweaked from a accident from the last owner but i had to drill out two holes and then when i got the winch mount 2 out of the 4 holes lined up with the ones i drilled so i took it to my buddy and he oblonged the holes and it fit 100% i also added 2 1/2 inch grade 8 bolts per side...one from the bottom and one from the side and used lock washers and nuts...that was a pain in the ass...but this thing is not going anywhere 100% happy...now if if the people that made my winch would return my emails i would be even more happy |

I'm gonna be taking pretty much the entire interior appart later this week for new carpet, radio, and some other little stuff. What I want to do is put in some sort of switch that I can hide...well....somewhere....that will prevent the truck from starting and/or kill it while it's running. The obvious choice would be a fuel cut off of some kind, but that looks like a bit of work. When I first got the truck I tried this with the clutch wiring, so that it would think the clutch wasn't being pressed and thus keep it from starting, but I never got it to work, it would always start anyway. Any suggestions? (2003 Sonoma) I can see why someone may not want to post this on a public website, so PMs are ok your truck has a factory cut off called passlock 2..while it is a shitty system it will prevent your truck from being hotwired |

You want it to turn over when you hit the key, or just not do a thing? If not, the large green wire in your steering column is the one you need to go after. If you interrupt that, it won't try to turn over when you turn the key. large green wire?? i have worked on thousands of s-series and i never once saw a green wire that had anything to do with the ignition system..please explain where you got your info from? or any gm for that matter.. the wires are red for constant pink for ignition white for 2nd ignition orange for acc and brown for 2nd acc |

Why is it when I click on a thread instead of all the posts being displayed, it shows a list of who responded and I hafto click on each one to read the repsonses. Is this a new feature? I tried looking in My Controls, but i couldnt find anything to change it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/frown.gif) its cause they dont want your kind here... haha |

Thats an easy wiring job (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nutkick.gif) I WANT HEADLIGHT ADJUST IN THE CAB!! That would be ultimate (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Is it electronic or manual? its electronic..there is a small dial in the "healdight" switch panel...and i can only image a small motor on the hight adjustment screw.. and i say "headlight" switch because it is in the same panel that our headlight switch is but there switch is on the stalk on the right side of the steering wheel |

i got pics but they are of hid headlights...the plug and play kit..not a retro also you can use a 9005 high beam bulb..you just have to shave off the top pin and grind down the guides inside the plug..its not much but it is a little gain in wattage |
