Oh yeah I never mentioned that. Yeah I'd just put the tweeter in the dash. I've had very good results with the tweeter in the dash.

Hm, ok. I wouldn't bother with upgrading the rear speakers (this is personal preference, but a waste of money IMO) I'd just use them for rear fill. What you could do, is get a decent set of components and put the mid in the door, and the tweeter in the dash (didn't the Blazers have tweeters in the dash from the factory anyway). But, don't go balls to the wall on a set of $400 components. Spend about $200 tops (maybe a little less) if you aren't going to amp them. A pair of $400 components off of headunit power is a waste (IMO).

JBL makes pretty good stuff. I've never heard their component speakers, but I've heard VERY good things about the GTO subs. I can only imagine the components are just as good. I'm not sure how much they run though, so keep that in mind when upgrading.

And why does it seem like I know 50 other Brian's that are looking up grade their stereo (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol.gif) I swear you're like the 10th one lol.

What's your budget? Diamond HEX components can be found on ebay for ~$200 I believe. Those are kick ass components for the price.

If you're looking for something a little cheaper, try the Infinity Reference or Kappa line. The Infinity Perfect's are also amazing as well, but they're up there in price.

Also, an amp would help out GREATLY in sound quality.

Just some suggestions.

The grille's have about 10 (I think) clips that clip into the radiator support. I just take a flat head screwdriver and pry one out at a time. It should pop right out.

Yeah those tape decks go bad really easily. I remember mine, and my sisters's in her Grand Am both have gone bad (they won't hold a cassette in there).

^ Cvr's are good for 400 rms a piece, i burnt one at 375, so if you have 750 each id like to know how your pulling that off.

Well, Chris might be mentioning the peak value of the amp ((IMG:style_emoticons/default/nono.gif) ), and....

Just because you're throwing 1500w rms to (2) 400w rms subs, doesn't mean you're going to blow them right away. Just as if I threw only 100w rms to a 400w rms sub, it's not like it's never going to get damaged (it will). It all depends on how you treat the subwoofer with the power you're throwing at it.

Oh nice. Yeah diyma is the best car audio forum out there, imo. They won't rip you a new asshole unless you really start to become annoying.

Center console looks great so far! How much airspace does the 6w3 need? Looks like I could put that box in my pocket and walk away haha.

Hmm.... a 6W3, I'm interested in seeing how that sounds. I might be blind, but have you said if you're going sealed or ported?
