How are your BJs.
The lower ball joints can pop/clunk when reversing directions, like when applying the brakes or backing up with the wheels turned! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idunno.gif)

That grille was on the 98 pickups, but I think it was put on some just because Chevy did not have enough of the new style grilles after the changes from 97 to 98.

There is another not known too much fact about the 98 pickup grilles, can any one guess?
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Never knew the about the first statement!

to anwser gregg's question...ummmm the 98's were only color keyed?
[/quote]

That is correct!
1998 was the only year that the grilles on the pickups were body colored! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumup.gif)

Another less known fact question, how many S-10 pickups have a grille without a Chevy bowtie on them? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Just like last year, I have the first days of August off.
I have reservations at Silver Lake for this Fri,Sat, Sun. (6,7,8th).

But, also like last year I will be up at my camp in the Alleghany National Forest for the first part of the week, so I will not have any computer access to find out if any one else will be there.

See ya there! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumup.gif)

Hi Dominic,
how about posting your address or landmarks where you park.
I'll be up in the ANF all week long and I'll probably end up in Benezette at least once! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

They both look stock to me, however they are both missing the front valance and either missing or modified flarettes. Plus supamans look freshly painted!

I just went 250 miles on 13.57 gallons...... best gas milage I have ever seen in my Z almost 18.5 mpg.

Holy crap. I get like 13 mpg in the city. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/frown.gif)

QUOTE (icecoled007 @ Jul 24 2010, 03:17 PM) *
I have 32s and body lift, bike rack, brush guard. Ive never seen 18 before usually 16 if I'm lucky.it was all city driving with a little highway. I get worse mpg on interstates, most likely because I'm spinning 3.5 grand rpm going 80.

I don't know how you get that high of a mileage in the city.
I bet the overwhelming majority of members on here get less than 15mpg (unless the live in Kansas or Florida).
I live in the city and work in the city (drive less than 12 miles total each day) and wether I am running 31s, 32s or 33s I usually get around 200 miles to a tank.

On the highway I usually go 325 or so.
With my 33s on I can cruise at 80 at less than 2,000 RPMs.
It's scientifically improbable for someone to get worse mileage on the highway! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idunno.gif)
