yes it is still for sale. If your sister is April, yes she contacted me. To you and everyone else... my price is now $5,200. I am VERY firm on that price. That is exactly what the estimate is on NADA.com... which I cant even list all of the options. It does at least have the full ZR2 package on there... unlike Kelly Blue Book, that doesn't like us ZR2 owners.. cause all it lists is the suspension option.

Your parents stopped by to check it out. Let them know they are free to call me or stop by at any time. Let them know the price drop as well.

Thanks,

Rich

Up for sale to pay off a loan on a new car, and because I do not need the blaze for transporting equipment anymore. Running great and hate to get rid of it... just have loans I need to pay.

The good:
Black Rock Crawler wheels with BF Goodrich All terain T/A's (10.5" wide)
Full set of 5 stock wheels and tires as well
Cold Air Intake
Brand new Gibson Cat back Exhaust
All new fuel system (fuel pump, sending unit, etc)
New alternator
New Battery lines
New Secondary Air Pump
New ball joints
New termostat
Clear front turns
New Alpine Type R component speakers in doors.
All black chevy bowtie emblems all the way around
etc.

I was going to sell this to a friend so he had his uncle go over this thing from head to toe. He nit picked and did $1k worth of work, now hes not buying it. My loss is your gain.

The Bad:
- Small scratch Dent low on pass side door due to rubbing up against a concrete pillar in a parking lot (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idunno.gif) Could just be resprayed and you would hardly notice it.

-A Few small scratches on the rear interior walls due to loading/unloading DJ equipment.

Please feel free to ask any questions...

Thanks
Rich

QUOTE (abright52 @ Apr 17 2007, 09:35 PM)
One foot on the brakes, one foot on the gas...........the results will tell the tale. ;)

Yes I have already done that for my own amusement and also those around me... but the question is... if i do have a locking dif. then both rear wheels will spin... correct??

The Bad:
-SES light is on due to needing a new secondary air pump, which is not a big deal, runs fine without it... its more for emissions. However I will probably have it replaced by the time it sells. If not its only a $150 part and easy to replace.

-Dent low on pass side door due to rubbing up against a concrete pillar in a parking lot :Idunno: Could just be resprayed and you would hardly notice it.

I just had the same problem, however my engine temp was all over the place on mine. The explanation i got was that my water pump was bad, thermostat was going and the main reason for no heat was low coolant in the radiator.

Hope that helps. I got a new thermostat, water pump, radiator cap, coolant flush, pressure test, and top off for $330.

Just to put in my experience with these kind of seats (not the exact set though) They are sliders that mount to the seats, you just have to find soimewhere to bolt or weld them down to the floor. Also my 2cents about the seats, they are comfortable, however they are built around a chincy frame and the cloth is a tshirt type cloth and is prone to tears and wearing. IT is a HOWEVER a great price. I would just sugest checking them out in real life for comfort, durability and cloth matherial.

I tried a search and didnt get very far. I have a 99 Blaxer Z with the auto shifter mounted on the steering column. Just wondering if i buy the centerconsole shifter parts, if it can be, and how hard it is to hook up.

If its a royal pain im not worried about it, but im just used to driving stick and it just feels better to have something in the center console to shift instead of reaching up to the steering wheel.

Thanks for any help or insight.

RIch

Looking to have shifter like this...

Thanks for all the help guys. I have since had it all fixed. It was a combo of many things. Bad battery, alternator, and fuel pump/ sending unit. A lil more than I wanted to get into when i first purchased the truck... but its def worth it.

Thanks again for your help

alright guys... it was just a thought, which i am not going to actually do, and even if i did, it would never be lowered, put euro altezza tail lights on it or anything like that. Thanks for all the comments, but its long gone now. Im just going to stay with the original idea of safari bar and Kc lights. Thanks again for all the comments that werent drilling it into the ground... a simple answer of "i dont like it" would have been sufficient.

Yea i hear what you guys are sayin about the lip that sticks out. I know id have to modify the inner fender part to fit the tire size so it doesnt rub (found by doing a lil research) so tomorrow ill Pshop off that lip... cuase if i have to modify it, i might as well chop the lip off and smooth it strait down. I have fiberglass experience as well as a friend a a body shop who just started workin with this sweet plastic "welder" thing. Ill pshop it tomorrow see how it looks and maybe give it a try in the next couple weeks

I have thought about that, however the amount of crazy offroading i do is minimal because i also have to rely on my Z transport of my Dj equipment for gigs. If i dont go this route, i am def looking to get the safari bar w/ lights like i see you have.

I was trying to figure out how to beef up the front of my Z the other day when i thought about photoshoping a front bumper from a Blazer/S10 Xtreme onto the front of my Blazer Z. It came out looking ok i think. It sortof follows the same look as the newer trailblazer and other new suv's look these days. only thing that bothers me is the front body line is a lil lower in the front than it is on the sides... but im thinking just adding a set of Black nerf step bars to the side might fix that astetic problem.

Ive done a search with no real answers.

Anyway just looking for comments on what you guys think... as well as if this will even fit or if the z has a different bumper reinforcement or something. Thanks for any and all comments.

I can 100% answer your question, cuase lucky for you i have tried to install this same set in my 99 Z. SO heres the deal...

They DO fit, however not perfect. The depth of the door is not deap enouph, but apline does give you two 1/4 inch spacers. Problem is... you need 2 spacers on each side. So you will have to get your hands on 2 extra spacers on top of buying the set of speakers.

Saying that... the speaker will then fit in the door, but when you go to put the door pamel back on, the speaker pushes the door panel away from the door a lil bit so the clip that holds the door panel on will not be able to be cliped in in that corner.

So do they fit? Yes... but no if you consider that one clip being pushed out. They have been in my Z for about 3 weeks now, sound great and have given me no problem with that one clip not being in.

If you do decide to get them, try to find someone who bought them or other apline speakers like them and swipe there 2 left over spacers so you dont have to order them from alpine... thats what i did!

Hope this helps.

Rich

If you have any other ??? about it feel free to email me at Rmckie@ycp.edu

I dont know if they all do, but mine def does, and your right... that steering wheel in the pic doesnt have an air bag. I was just wondering if anyone knew if you could put that old chevy wheel on ... like if the hub would be the same to attach it.

Still searching for an answer... any help would be great

http://i1.ebayimg.com/04/i/08/06/d4/b9_1.JPG

I already bought it at the carlisle truck show hoping that it would fit. I forget what the guy at the show said it was off of, but i just found the same one on ebay from a 92 Lumina Eurosport. Just figured id post it up here to ask before trying it out. Any insight would help. If it doesnt fit would it be possible to take the hub part out of a new wheel and modify it to this one possibly?

THanks for any help

Rich
