  1. Pewter ZR2 Blazer SAS and more

Yeah I'm thinking I'm gonna wait until it warms up again and take the cherry picker outside and hold it up on one end that way. Probably have to do the same with the 14 bolt after it welded Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well got the front axle tonight or at least part of it. Part of the changes to the original plan I'm now going passenger drop with this Chevy Dana 60. Will only be using the housing and the carrier with a locker in it. From there I will run chromolys and ford knuckles (probably Reid) and then a disc brake adapter to run the Silverado hd brakes so now all my brake components will match and should be more than enough stopping power. Have to figure out how to get these knuckles off first I think I'm going to need to pick up some more aerokroil. Found this inside when I popped the cover off Obviously this thing either was mudding or was sitting in it for awhile so that's gonna be fun cleaning. Either way got a good deal on it. Also got a nice raise and got a bunch of things taken care of so this build should be going faster soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wow I'm doing a bad job of updating this. Hubs are assembled tore the pinion support apart and found out why this axle was in the junkyard. The outer pinion bearing was trashed to the point that all bearings were flat spotted one was completely missing and they had gotten so hot that when they stopped moving they welded themselves to the race so that explains the crap through the whole axle and why the ring and pinion were so scored and actually blued from heat. Got the housing back from the machine shop last week with a giant hole in it now so sometime I need to get around to fitting and welding the shave kit plate on. Hopefully going and getting my front axle this weekend more on that later Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pewter is the name of the color and the u joint makes a lot of difference especially when combined with other upgrades Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Good source for LED aux reverse lights?

I'll go whenever. I think most people are flexible enough we need to just decide on a date. And as much as I like the forum better than the website we need to publicize this on Facebook too since there's more people and activity on there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah like on moms envoy it's got trip and odometer and fuel mileage and range and service and all kinds of stuff... when it works... but how would you control that to even see trip and odometer once swapped into an s10 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What about controlling the display at the bottom? Without steering wheel controls it would just be blank? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Correct. Not needed. All you will need is one input from your shifter to the PCM Via one wire on the tccm harness for low range trans shifting if your running an auto. You might as well pull it out and chuck it. You have to get to the connector anyway. I still have mine in case someone needs it, but its not in the truck.Oh and I can definitely say, I am super happy with my 231. We have a shit ton of snow here and its so nice to just grab the lever and pull and know its locked up. No TCCM/Encoder motor to wait on only for it to fail, no vacuum system to F**k with. Same here! And I guess I didn't think about not needed that. I have the wire to it already. So I guess when my dash comes apart that is coming out and most of those wires will be deleted. And actually I think I won't even need that wire with the setup I'm planning the speedo just won't be correct in 4low which I couldn't care less about Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok jderekt this is kind of off track but for guys like you and me that have manual transfer cases now is it possible to delete the tccm entirely especially with a motor swap? The ecu is controlling the tranny correct not the tccm? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Funny I drive around my moms envoy once in a while used to a lot and never once did I ever think about this but yeah they are pretty close. This is why I like this place haha. But I wonder about the plugs and electronics. And if you do get one you're probably going to need it fixed because the displays are notorious for going out like it did on hers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are we talking trailblazer the s10 trim option or the actual trailblazer and envoys? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
